The elegant apartment in Bartensteingasse 9 provided the appropriate ambience for the “Retrospective” which exactly focused on the time this apartment was arranged for a Vienna family from the upper class.

Whereas Klaus Grossmann (University of Regensburg/Germany, left) portrayed scientific status of developmental psychology during the time when Charlotte Bühler lived, Brigitte Rollett (University of Vienna/Austria, right) who still remember Charlotte Bühler in person, described her career, her research and her personality as a scientist as well as a mother of two children.

Gerhardt Benetka (Sigmund Freud University/Austria, second from left) spoke about how Karl Bühler founded the Vienna Psychology Institute and which role Charlotte played during that time, so that Lieselotte Ahnert (University of Vienna/Austria, third from left) started her moderation by wondering how Charlotte Bühler could develop her potential as she did, i.e. beside her famous husband and during a time where women hardly entered the university.
